Organizational Structure

We are working on reviewing our department structures and names and was curious what other organizations structure, specifically regarding the term department versus division.

When it comes to department hierarchy how do you organize your "groups"?

For example,
SD1
Office of Executive Director
Deputy Executive Director Administration
HR Department - HR Manager, Safety Department - Safety Manager, IT Department - IT Manager - etc.

or do you have something like

SD1
Office of Executive Director
Deputy Executive Director Administration Department
HR Division  - HR Manager, Safety Division - Safety Manager, IT Division - IT Manager - etc.
